Update: No hairball
But gastritis, duodenitis, and colitis, meaning that my entire GI tract is pissed off at me for no good reason. I can call to check on the biopsies in a couple of days.
This sounds weird, but I am so profoundly happy that she found something WRONG.
The drugs are definitely the good shit. I’m still loopy. And everyone who says the worst part is the prep is totally right. I had to pretend to be Albus Dumbledore.
And really, the whole thing was much less awful than I’d feared (mostly cause the drugs are the good shit), although the two hours of waiting in a hall with no book damn near DID drive me insane.
(And my doctor remembered I was taking the GRE and asked how I did! I think I’m in love.)

No it doesn’t sound weird to be happy that they foudn somethign wrong, it means there is likely a solution!
I am slightly sad that there was no hairball. But mostly happy that a solution may be forth coming.

It would be a lot of problems if you had a form of sleepwalking whereby you chomped on your hair in your sleep.
I hope an easy & good solution is soon announced, and I’m sorry you’re going through this.

What’s the news? They hit me pretty hard with steroids after ’scoping me ass and they were a wolf in sheep’s clothing. They helped my digestion and ruined everything else.
